Plain-English summary: We only collect information you voluntarily give us through our contact and download forms. We use it to respond to your inquiry and send your requested materials. Simplexity Accounting ("Simplexity," "we," "us," or "our") is an accounting firm serving private equity sponsors, M&A advisors, portfolio companies, and venture-backed startups. Our website is located at simplexity.co and we can be reached at info@simplexity.co.

We collect information only when you choose to provide it through one of our web forms. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, session-recording software, or behavioral analytics.
Contact form — when you submit an inquiry we collect:
- First and last name
- Company name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Your role and service interest
- Timeline and message content
Roadmap download form — when you download our Startup Finance Roadmap we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
Third-party services — our site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This results in a standard HTTP request to Google's servers but does not transmit any form data or personal information to Google. Our forms are processed by Netlify (netlify.com), our website host. Netlify receives submitted form data on our behalf and is bound by its own privacy policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit exclusively to:
- Respond to your inquiry and prepare a tailored engagement proposal
- Deliver the requested PDF download
- Follow up on your inquiry within our stated response window
- Occasionally send relevant accounting insights — you can opt out at any time by replying to any email
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose unrelated to delivering our accounting services.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. The only parties who may access your submitted information are:
- Netlify — our website host and form processor, acting as a data processor on our behalf
- Simplexity team members — only those involved in responding to your inquiry
- Law enforcement or legal process — if required by applicable law
5. Data Retention
We retain form submissions for as long as necessary to manage your inquiry and any resulting engagement. If you request deletion of your information, we will honor that request within 30 days except where retention is required by law or legitimate business need (such as maintaining accounting records for an active engagement).
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to know — what personal information we collect, use, and disclose

7. California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA)
This website does not use session-recording software, embedded third-party chat tools that intercept communications, or any technology that reads, attempts to read, or learns the contents of electronic communications in transit. Form submissions are transmitted directly to Netlify's servers over an encrypted HTTPS connection and are not intercepted or read by any third party in transit.
8. Security
All data transmitted through our website is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored by Netlify and accessed only by authorized Simplexity personnel. We do not store payment card information.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed exclusively to business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Links to Third-Party Sites
Our site includes a link to Calendly (calendly.com) for meeting scheduling. Once you navigate to Calendly, their privacy policy governs the data you provide there. We encourage you to review it before booking.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
